Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, a musician's daughter born in Mexico, was born to the music-loving parents of her family. The music she grew up with was traditional, old boleros and classic romantic songs and the Ranchero style. Ana is a fan of tangos, as well as opera and dramatic performances. She began singing and learning the piano with her mom, she began her more intensive singing training when she was 16 working with the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio Becerra. The musical training continued with the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterwards to the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. The singer performed throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and other cities as a young scholar and professional. After moving into the United States, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then in 2002 she relocated to southern California. She's a regular solo performer at private parties and events and performs the traditional Latin American Music. Ana is involved in a variety of local organizations and is a teacher as well as a performer due to her love for music and arts. Ana has also been an active member of the Community Chorus of Redlands as and members of the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana finds it a privilege to be able to be able to share her love for the traditional Latin American music. She hopes this can encourage younger generations to preserve the traditions.
